WHY AM I HERE?

I've always been intrigued and inspired by the idea of freezing a moment in time through a little camera lens. One split second and a sliver of the real world with all of its joy, tears, light, darkness, stillness, and motion forever lives in one tiny frame. When I was little this looked like taking pictures of flowers in my backyard, and now this passion has evolved into something I never could've dreamt up myself.

The best way to explain how I got to this point in my business is the faithfulness of God through slow and steady stretching & growth. I started posting my photos on Instagram when I was in high school and my feed mainly consisted of photos of my friends. After a while, I had some people reaching out one-by-one for senior photos, couples photoshoots, and family photos. I was really being drawn to couples shoots and I started doing more of them. I remember being so nervous and pulling up Pinterest before every session to store away some poses in case my mind went blank during the session. I felt like I had no idea what I was doing, but I was so in love with the process at the same time.

Since then, I have seen the Lord's hand in the growth of this business year after year. I now have the opportunity to capture so many of the most meaningful & beautiful days of someone's love story. I believe our love as humans is merely a reflection of Christ's love for us. What a joy and an honor to tell the story of this love on a wedding day.
